Anaikot village is located at the foothills of Himalayas in the Kavrepalchok District (27.679275, 85.592640) 25 km east of Kathmandu, at an altitude of 1150 meters above sea level. In 2013 we built our first Bamboo school; its earthquake-proof design proved a big success.
Afterwards, at the end of July 2015 we put up the emergency shelters for 29 of the neediest families; built at a total cost of 4.500 dollars. We were kindly assisted by Jay Nepal - a non-profit organisation.
