How We Help Nepal
Our idea’s isn’t to force the Nepali people into a “western way” of living or transforming their values, we feel that a sensitive and respectful approach should be adopted at all times. Although not always easy to do, we do endeavour to respect local traditions and village customs, which have been drawn from our long-term experience on the ground. We do not impose conditions with any of our programmes and work with villagers regardless of religion or caste, however difficult this maybe.
Financial aid gives children hope for a better life than their parents, and gives children a chance to reach a basic level of education and standard of living; something we believe everybody is entitled to.
It’s not only a matter of sending money, but rather creating a bond of trust, kindness and understanding among the people who have found in each other’s hearts to help one another, regardless of their social and cultural backgrounds.
