Namaste Nepal

Payment

The annual payment for one schoolchild is 6,000,- CZK.

The amount is used as follows:

A – to cover the needs of the schoolchildren

The money is used for purchasing school uniforms, textbooks, school supplies (pens, notebooks), school bags and on oral hygiene (toothbrushes, toothpastes) and basic health care (including the preventive). Any surplus money is used on basic subsistence for families (e.g. rice, vegetables) or for purchasing equipment needed for subsistence work. The help received allows families to send more of their children to school. The supporters can request to be sent a summary of what their money have been specifically used for (e.g. school uniforms, two pairs of shoes, not on a school bag since there’s already one from my sibling, three textbooks, stationery etc.).

B – Temporary Assistance Fund

In the event of sudden termination of the aid, the schoolchild is continuously supported until finding a new supporter. It’s a temporary support of a schoolchild, who would otherwise have to suspend their education.

C - The costs associated with the project

These include the financing of coordinator based in Nepal, costs of postage, photographs and office supplies , maintenance of websites costs, bank fees etc.
